Born in 1985 in the Ukrainian SSR to a family of an engineer and a doctor, Dmitriy showed an innate passion for art from an early age, filling his childhood with sketches and drawings created purely for the joy of expression. Despite this early inclination, he initially pursued a different path, earning a degree in economics and building a career in the business world.
In 2017, at the age of 34, after relocating to Israel’s vibrant cultural landscape, Dmitriy returned to his first love – Art. Immersed in a new environment, he found inspiration in the country’s diverse traditions, dynamic energy, and the emotional richness of everyday life. This rediscovery sparked a profound transformation: he picked up a paintbrush and began translating his observations and experiences onto canvas.
Dmitriy’s work is distinguished not only by his artistic talent but also by the courage and authenticity of his journey. Choosing to step away from the predictability of a traditional career, he embraced the uncertainty of the artistic path, turning each brushstroke into an act of self-expression and renewal. His art embodies both personal reinvention and a deep dialogue with the world around him.
