Bianca Matalon, born in Milan in 1998, is an Italian photographer, living in Israel.
She studied Photography at IED, Milan, and graduated with the photobook “Più vicino”, a project exploring the stages of growth, friendship and connection with the natural world.
She attended a Master in Photography at IUAV, Venice, from which she graduated with “Haifa City”, a photobook concerning the Israeli city of Haifa and its population, stratified urban texture and history
Her work investigates the territory, with themes such as integration, coexistence of different ethnic groups and the city as a theatre of constant change; she is also involved in social themes and community-oriented research.
