Painting for Ruthy is like breathing.
She cannot live without it…
Ruthy majored in Applied Graphic Design at the Israeli Technion Institute, and worked as a graphic designer for over 14 years. Through the years, She have taken painting classes/ courses in different media, but she is mostly self-taught.
Her art participated in shows and galleries in Palo Alto and San Jose, California, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Akko, Raanana, Givataim, Karmiel, in Israel, Florence, Italy and London Galleries.
Ruthy’s art is also on Saatchi online.
She also painted a few murals, one of which is at the Aquatic Park Museum in San Francisco CA, and one in the “Children’s Cove” at the JCC in Palo Alto CA. Others in private homes.
Art, and especially painting, was always a therapy for Ruthy, and art always helped her overcome life's challenges. Art is also for fun. Ruthy always enjoyed learning and experiencing more media and techniques, to express herself better.
Ruthy enjoys color everywhere; She loves nature and is fascinated by the range of emotions. In her art, Ruthy wants to use color and paint to bring "Emotions in Motion" to life, on the canvas. Ruthy captures the movement in the moment.
We currently live in a very fast pace, busy all the time, too busy to even feel. With her art, Ruthy wants to make the audience stop, and give space for their feelings… for longing… for the dream we used to have…
